Magaly Gutiérrez, the representative of President Nicolás Maduro’s Ministry of Health, had a meeting with Xuetao Cao, the Vice-Minister of the National Health Commission of China, during the World Health Organization (WHO) assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. Gutiérrez expressed their commitment to further advance the agreements established with China, particularly in strengthening Venezuela’s national pharmaceutical industry, focusing on the quality of medicines and the revitalization of nuclear medicine.

The Ambassador of Venezuela to China, Giuseppe Yoffreda Yorio, held a meeting with China’s Prosecutor General, Ying Yong, to strengtheng judicial cooperation between the two countries. This meeting is part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between China and Venezuela and aligns with the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy led by President Nicolás Maduro.

The Republic of China has extended an invitation to Venezuela to participate in its International Lunar Research Station (ILRS) project, which is set to be constructed in the early 2030s with Russia’s assistance. This collaborative initiative reflects the shared commitment of both countries to international cooperation in the realm of deep space exploration.
