Commemorating the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between The Bahamas and PCR

A function was held on May 19, 2022 at the Grand Hyatt, Baha Mar, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

The event was attended by PRC Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas Dai Qingli and Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs and Public Administration Frederick Mitchell, along with Governor-General Sir Cornelius A. Smith, Prime Minister Philip Davis, and Mrs. Ann Marie Davis, Leader of the Opposition, along with Michael Pintard and other government officials of the Bahamas.
