The Agenda for the International Forum China – Latin America: Perspectives and Debates Is Now Available
The International Forum China – Latin America: Perspectives and Debates will bring together researchers from across the region on April 23 and 24 at FLACSO Ecuador and Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Over the course of two days, thematic panels will focus on the political, economic, sociocultural, environmental, and technological dimensions of China’s presence and influence in Latin America.
The event aims to create a space for academic and pluralistic dialogue, where research findings, comparative analyses, and critical reflections on the main challenges and transformations in China–Latin America relations can be shared. The agenda features presentations by specialists from universities, research centers, and public and multilateral institutions across Latin America and the Caribbean.
All activities are organized as open sessions, allowing for direct exchange between speakers and attendees, and promoting informed discussion on emerging topics in the regional agenda. Each panel will include commentary and moderation by scholars with recognized expertise in China and its ties to Latin America.
