China-Argentina Friendship and Cooperation 2022 Competition

The China Public Diplomacy Association and the Embassy of China in Argentina launched the China-Argentina Friendship and Cooperation Year 2022 Video Contest, as part of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. The call for entries will remain open until April 30. The contest is sponsored by the Chinese newspaper Global Times Online, and is supported by the Embassy of Argentina in China and the Department of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The evaluation and selection of the videos submitted will take place from May 1 to 10, 2022. The list of winners will be published on May 15, 2022, and the awards ceremony will be held in June 2022. The purpose is to tell stories about bilateral friendship, such as the joint fight against pandemics, social responsibility, cultural and sports exchange, green sustainable development and innovation in science and technology, among other topics. It was officially announced that the contest is open to the public from China, Argentina, and other countries. The videos will be featured on social networks and TV channels. The winning works will be widely disseminated and awarded with a DJI DaJiang Action 2 (GoPro-type camera including electronic image stabilization), a Redmi A55 (mini HD TV) and an Apple Home Pod Mini, among other distinctions.
