VI China-Colombia Dialogue

The VI China-Colombia Dialogue took place on November 17 in Bogota. The event was attended by the Colombian Ambassador to China, Sergio Cabrera, and his Chinese counterpart, Lan Hu, along with Colombian Minister of Trade and Tourism, Germán Umaña Mendoza, and the Chinese Representative in charge of Latin American Affairs, Qiu Xiaoqi, also participated in the event. They discussed various issues, including the need to deepen bilateral relations and progress in infrastructure. They also addressed sustainability issues related to sectors such as transportation, technology transfer, decarbonization, e-commerce, and renewable energies, among others. It is worth noting that this was the first face-to-face forum following the Covid-19 pandemic.
