In collaboration with the Argentine-Chinese Chamber of Production, Industry, and Commerce (CATPIC), the Argentine Government has introduced a mentoring program designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their pursuit of business opportunities in the Chinese market. Known as “Turnkey to China Export 360 for Argentine SMEs,” the program offers a series of ten presentations, conducted in a hybrid format combining both in-person and virtual sessions. The initiative targets over thirty Argentine agribusiness companies seeking to understand the intricacies of the Chinese market.
Alejandra Conconi, the Executive Director of CATPIC, emphasized that the program aims to alleviate potential linguistic, economic, and cultural barriers faced by Argentine SMEs venturing into the Chinese market. Additionally, Pablo Berovich, the National Director of SME Policy at the Secretariat of Industry and Productive Development, underscored the significance of expanding and diversifying Argentina’s export offerings during the program’s launch.
