The 10th China Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo took place from November 16 to 19 in the city of Mianyang, Sichuan province. Argentina was the guest of honor, with representatives of 15 companies from the Latin American country. Sabino Vaca Narvaja, the Argentine ambassador in China, talked about wanting to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations with China, specifically in the field of technology and development. A joint China-Argentina Research Center was established as part of the event, involving the Latin American Center of the Southwest University of Science and Technology and the National University of Lanús.
Another milestone in the exhibition was the launching of the Biogas Development and Cooperation Center between Argentina and China, designed to further research, innovation, and the potential implementation of biogas as a reliable source of energy. According to Sabino Vaca, biogas represents an economic opportunity that will strengthen cooperation between the two countries, with a view to promote joint technological and commercial development.
